Design and symbolism

Three gold crowns surround two pale-blue waves on a royal-blue field: two crowns above, one below. The crowns and background connect the design to the flag of East Anglia.

History and use

The waves represent the Cam, using the pale blue associated with Cambridge University. Brady Ells designed the flag; a public vote selected it from six shortlisted entries in a county flag competition.
