Design and symbolism

A golden great bustard stands within a green disc, surrounded by alternating green and white sections. Green and white waves extend across the background.

History and use

The waves evoke grassland and chalk; the segmented circle recalls stone circles. Mike Prior created the design, which received local support and entered the Registry in 2009. The registered image should be used intact, rather than cropping the circular emblem out of its flag.
