Design and symbolism

A yellow upright cross divides blue, with a Tudor rose at its centre. Green detail within the central emblem adds a further landscape colour.

History and use

Peter Stock’s design developed through local use before entering the Registry. The cross is associated with St David and the rose recalls Henry Tudor. The colours evoke the county’s sea, land and cliffs. Its history shows that community use can precede formal registration.
