Norfolk Day
The day and its story
Norfolk Day is celebrated on 27 July. The modern initiative was developed by BBC Radio Norfolk and the Eastern Daily Press, with the first celebration in 2018.
The occasion brings local stories, community activity and county pride together. The date should be described as the celebration’s chosen day, without inventing an older historical anniversary to explain it.
Make it your celebration
Fly or display the county flag, explore a local collection, share a family story, or bring people together around the county’s food, language, music and history. Check individual organisers for event dates and access arrangements.
