Historic County Flags Day on July 23 celebrates county flags in Parliament Square, featuring Leicestershire’s first appearance. Currently, 54 out of 86 historic counties have flags.

Leicestershire has officially registered its flag, the Fox and Cinquefoil, marking the last English county to obtain one, following a campaign led by local MP Alicia Kearns.
